CTK Subcontracting Policy Statement

Christ the King Sixth Forms now has plans to subcontract elements of Employability, Enrichment, and Pastoral (EEP) activity as part of a learner’s study programme, where there is a clear strategic rationale – subject to DFE approval.

Subcontracting will be used to:

  1. Enhance the breadth and quality of the learning offer;
  2. Reach and support specific learner groups;
  3. Provide specialist or niche provision that cannot be delivered in-house.

Christ the King Sixth Forms does not subcontract full study programmes. All subcontracting arrangements will be managed in line with DFE regulations and our commitment to high-quality, inclusive education.

Safeguarding

At Christ the King Sixth Form College, the safety, wellbeing and dignity of every student are central to our mission. Guided by our Catholic ethos, we provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff, governors, volunteers, contractors and visitors have a duty to act in the best interests of our students at all times.

The College has robust safeguarding procedures, supported by regular staff training, clear reporting systems and effective partnership working with external agencies. Students are encouraged to speak to a trusted member of staff about any concerns, including mental health, peer-on-peer abuse, harassment or online safety.

If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact the College’s safeguarding team immediately.
