Catholic celebration
Christ the King Sixth Forms joined the global Catholic community in celebrating the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025, as proclaimed by Pope Francis. This extraordinary jubilee was an invitation to renew our faith, foster unity, and reflect on the power of hope in our lives and communities.
The Jubilee Year, themed “Pilgrims of Hope,” called us to journey together in faith and love, building bridges of peace and reconciliation. It was a time to deepen our relationship with God, care for one another, and take active steps toward creating a more compassionate and just world.
At Christ the King Sixth Forms, we are continually proud to embrace this message of hope. Throughout 2025, we hosted a series of events and initiatives that inspired our students, staff, and local community:
Jubilee Opening Ceremony
A special Mass and celebration which marked the official launch of the Jubilee Year.
Pilgrimages and Spiritual Retreat
Opportunities that reflected spiritual growth through prayer and communal experiences.
Acts of Service
Outreach projects that supported those in need within our community and beyond.
Workshops and Talks
We held inspiring discussions on faith, hope, and living out the Jubilee message in our daily lives.
Environmental Action
Events that were focused on caring for our common home, in line with Pope Francis’s call to stewardship.
2025 was a momentous occasion, and we committed to making the Jubilee Year of Hope a transformative experience for everyone involved.
