Evening of Celebration

We were elated to host our annual Evening of Celebration across our three sites this June, honoring our upper sixth students who have worked tirelessly throughout their time at Christ the King and have committed themselves to striving for excellence. The evening featured an award ceremony that highlighted those who have excelled in their subject areas and exemplified the CTK GRACES.

Thank you to our guest speakers, Damilola Okeke, a proud alumna of Christ the King Sixth Forms, who graduated in 2011 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Culture Studies from the University of Arts London and who is now a Keynote Speaker and is the Founder and host of the Come See Podcast.

We were also delighted to be joined by Sayo Ogundele, former CTK student who, after leaving CTK, pursued further education at The London School of Economics (LSE), where he attained a Bachelor of Law degree.  Christ the King Sixth Forms is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Scholarship for 2024, made possible through the generous contribution of Sayo Ogundele. Sayo’s commitment to social mobility and his unwavering desire to support aspiring individuals have inspired the establishment of this scholarship.

Finally, we were delighted to be joined by Seni Fawehinmi, who graduated from the sixth form in 2010 and went onto study for a Bachelor’s Degree in tourism with Finance at University of Hertfordshire. Seni has since held many senior Executive and Managerial roles in a range of businesses and is currently a Manager at Client Services at Ryan which is an award-winning global tax service and software provider and is the largest firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes. Seni has been instrumental in supporting CTK students over a number of years and was involved in the evolution and development of the Metric Capital Scholarship. Seni was a mentee of John Sinik, who is the Managing Partner at Metric Capital and over the last 10 years this Scholarship has awarded over £500,000 to CTK students.

The celebration was filled with memorable performances and moving tributes, culminating in a delightful buffet dinner. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all our upper sixth students as they embark on their new journeys. We look forward to reuniting on Results Day!
