CTK Hosts Inspiring Evening of Celebration Honouring Student Success

This June, Christ the King Sixth Forms proudly hosted its annual Evening of Celebration, a heartfelt event recognising the outstanding achievements of our Upper Sixth students across all three sites. The evening brought together students, families, staff, and special guests to reflect on the dedication, growth, and success of our learners as they prepare to take their next steps beyond sixth form.

The event featured an uplifting awards ceremony, where students were recognised for academic excellence, personal development, and contributions to the CTK community. The atmosphere was filled with pride and joy as families and staff applauded the hard work and resilience shown by our students throughout their time at CTK.

We were honoured to be joined by several distinguished alumni and guest speakers, including:

  • Christopher Uyiekpen, a proud CTK alumnus and a now a qualified Pharmacist
  • Dianne Johnson, Head of Programmes and Engagement at Urban Synergy
  • Louis Howell, Founder and Managing Director of 7PK and Co-Director of Revolution Hive
  • Sharon Adesola-David – a remarkable CTK alumna currently studying Fashion, Design and Mandarin at Kings College London
  • Leila Thomas – CEO and Founder of Urban Synergy

Their stories served as powerful reminders of the transformative potential of education and the lasting impact of the CTK experience.

The evening also included memorable performances by our CTK band, moving tributes, and a celebratory buffet, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for all in attendance.

We extend our deepest congratulations to all our students and heartfelt thanks to our guests, staff, and families who made the evening so special. We look forward to seeing our students thrive in the years ahead – and to welcoming them back as alumni in the future.
