CTK Christmas Gift Appeal 2025
CTK Launches Christmas Gift Appeal to Support Local Charities and Families in Need
Christ the King Sixth Forms launched its annual Christmas Gift Appeal, bringing together students, staff, families and the wider community to support those most in need during the festive season.
This year, we collected:
🎁 Toys & gifts
📚 Books
🍪 Non-perishable food items
🧣 Warm essentials
All donations were given to four incredible organisations that we support yearly:
- Demelza Children’s Hospice
- Refuge (supporting women and children escaping domestic abuse)
- Lewisham Foodbank
- St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP)
Donations now closed!
We want to extend a warm thank you to our whole community who took part – every gift has made a difference this Christmas season.
Students Went Live on Maritime Radio
To help raise awareness, four of our student ambassadors appeared live on Maritime Radio to speak about the appeal, why it matters, and how our community can get involved. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to use their voices to champion social action and support charitable causes beyond the classroom, if you missed it, you can listen HERE!

A Community Rooted in Service & Compassion
The Christmas Gift Appeal reflects our mission as a Catholic Sixth Form: to show leadership through service, compassion and solidarity. Across all sites, students filled donation boxes, promoting the appeal, to help spread Christmas cheer through acts of giving.
We are incredibly proud of the generosity shown and look forward to seeing the impact our community can continue to make together.
✨ Thank you again to everyone supported the appeal – together, we can bring hope, warmth and joy to families this Christmas. ✨
