Christ the King Sixth Forms Participate in The Big Lent Walk for CAFOD & SCIAF

Yesterday, students and staff from Christ the King took part in The Big Lent Walk to support CAFOD and SCIAF. The event began at St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, where participants walked through the Holy Doors, symbolising a journey of prayer and reconciliation. This pilgrimage is a powerful reminder of Jesus’ words in John 10:9: “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.”

The walk was blessed by Cathedral Dean, Canon Michael Branch, adding a special spiritual significance to the event. The participants were united in their mission to raise funds for charity, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Christ the King Sixth Forms is proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by our students and staff. Their efforts not only support a worthy cause but also embody the values of faith and service that are central to our institution.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful event.

Together, we are making a difference.
