Christ the King Sixth Forms Celebrate Black History Month with Inspiring Alumni Speaker Series

Christ the King Sixth Form College proudly marked Black History Month 2025 with a series of inspirational events held across all three CTK sites throughout October.

With the theme “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”, this year’s celebrations brought together former CTK students who have gone on to excel in fields including leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals across law, finance, media, technology, property, communication and design. Each have built an impressive careers while breaking barriers and contributing to their communities.

The Alumni Speaker Series provided students with the opportunity to hear first-hand experiences, ask questions, and connect with role models who once studied at CTK.

The events highlighted the importance of representation, empowerment and raising aspirations, as our alumni shared stories of resilience, identity, leadership and the impact of their CTK education on their personal and professional journeys.

Students from across the Sixth Forms valued the opportunity to learn from those who have progressed into exciting careers, gaining insight, advice and confidence for their own future pathways.
