Army of Creatives – Inspiring CTK Students
Army of Creatives is LEAN’s (Lewisham Education Arts Network) flagship Creative Careers programme: Empowering Lewisham’s Artists of Tomorrow designed to inspire the next generation of young artists by connecting them with local creative professionals.
Two professional creatives, Rayvenn Shaleigha D’Clark and Cassius Rayne worked with our Art, Design and Media students to discuss representation and identity in the arts and showed our students how to make short films using only their mobile phones and their own creativity. Our students did a remarkable job, staying engaged with the process and curating some wonderful works.

Rayvenn Shaleigha D’Clark grew up surrounded by curious and creative family members which led her to pursuing a degree in fine art at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea School of Art. During this time, Rayvenn kept exploring different techniques such as painting, drawing, and photography. Fascinated by the human form – and especially the human face – she then moved in producing hyper realistic sculpture. She is inspired by a close circle of peers, friends, and family members, and motivated by the idea of portraying kinship whilst playing with size and form.
