Outstanding Results at Christ the King Sixth Forms on A Level, BTEC, UAL, and T Level Results Day 2025

Christ the King Sixth Forms is delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of its students on this year’s Level 3 Results Day. The continued success of our students reflects their hard work, ambition, and commitment – as well as the unwavering support of our staff and sixth form community.

This year’s results highlight the breadth of talent and aspiration across Christ the King’s diverse student body. Whether pursuing academic or vocational pathways, our students have risen to the challenge and achieved outcomes that open doors to exciting futures — from top universities and competitive degree apprenticeships to creative industries and professional careers.

Across all qualifications, students at CTK have continued to perform exceptionally:

  • A Level pass rate: 98.1%, (compared to the National average of 97.5%) with 22 subjects achieving a 100% pass rate
  • Vocational qualifications equivalent to three A Levels had a pass rate of over 99%  (BTEC, UAL, T Levels)
  • High Grades were exceptionally strong, with 70% of A Level gaining a (A*- C) and 78% for Vocational Courses (D*- D)
  • An impressive 85% of students are progressing to university or degree apprenticeships.

As the Sixth Form expands its curriculum to include a wide range of T Levels in Health, Business, Engineering, Media, Accounting and Early Years Education, these results were equally impressive. T Levels, rigorous technical qualifications co-designed with industry experts, are equivalent to 3 A Levels and offer students a powerful combination of academic study and extended industry placements in. Our T Level students have excelled, with a 96% pass rate and many progressing into skilled employment, higher apprenticeships, and university.

Executive Principal, Shireen Razey OBE, said:

‘The students have worked extremely hard over the last two years, and we are delighted to celebrate their outstanding results today. These achievements are a true testament to our student’s perseverance, resilience, and determination.

On behalf of all the staff at Christ The King, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to each student on their individual success.  Whether heading to university or starting their careers through apprenticeships, or employment they are all well-prepared for the future.

Many students from Christ the King are now progressing to top universities across the UK, including places at King’s College London, Imperial, University College London, Nottingham University, Bath University, City St George’s University as well as competitive courses such as Medicine, Law, Computer Science, Graphic Design and Engineering. I’ve really enjoyed studying T Level Engineering at CTK. The course has given me valuable hands-on experience and the chance to work with real companies, which helped me grow both personally and professionally. One of the highlights was visiting construction sites with the Construction Youth Trust – it was amazing to see how what we learned in class applied in the real world. I’m proud of the results I’ve achieved and excited to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I can’t wait to take the next step in my journey and build a career in the engineering or tech industry.

Tamara Copeland

Royal Holloway University – Psychology

It’s definitely been a journey, with plenty of challenges along the way, but I’ve grown so much during my time at CTK. One of the best things has been the strong sense of community – you always have friends around you and teachers who genuinely care and are there to support you, both academically and personally. The hard work really does pay off in the end. I’ve learned that there’s no success without a bit of struggle, but that’s what makes it all worth it. I’m really excited to be heading to Royal Holloway to study Psychology!

The support from both teachers and students helped me stay focused, especially when things got tough applying to university.
